Oyster farming in Florianópolis took off in the 1990s and became an important local industry. Students visit an oyster farm in Ribeirão da Ilha, meet the oyster farmer and see the animal up close.
Includes the farm visit and a talk with the oyster farmer, a display of the farming tools and live oysters in an aquarium.

A cultural and educational outing, a living extension of the classroom, for 3rd-grade groups with a minimum of 25 students. The historic downtown becomes a lab: Praça XV, the Fig Tree, Cruz e Sousa and the Public Market.
Every outing has three Floripa Xperience staff: a tour guide, a monitor and a safety professional. Uniform and sneakers are required; drone photos are optional.
