It started as a tourism school project. Paula, then a student, met Alberto, a local oyster farmer in Ribeirão da Ilha who wanted to turn oyster farming into something visitors could experience.
Floripa Xperience was founded in 2014, and Ostra Xperience became a real tourism experience. Today we have been welcoming groups for 12 years.
Long before the farm was full of visitors, Alberto and Paula were already hosting small groups to taste oysters, hear the story of oyster farming and look out over the bay.
The starting point is the same today: real people, fresh oysters and the view.
